Music Lessons in Seattle
As a music teacher I offer guitar lessons for all ages and skill levels. I start many of my students through Bryant Elementary school, as young as first grade. Because of this I am very used to teaching young kids, and preparing them for their middle and high school music programs (which get intense rather quickly for guitar players.)
Lessons are focused around the student and on achieving their individual musical goals. Whether you have a child with rock star dreams or just want to learn guitar as a hobby to relax we can work together to bring out your inner musician!
In a decade of teaching guitar, I’ve taught a wide variety of styles, including rock, folk, classical, jazz and funk. I double on various types of guitars and stringed instruments, such as acoustic, electric, bass, ukelele, and twelve-string. I am fantastic at teaching confusing theoretical concepts, in an easy to digest, step by step way, I also have no problem throwing all the theory aside and just working on strumming chords, singing and having a good time playing!
In-Home Lessons are offered throughout the North Seattle area, as well as at my home in Fremont, and online through Zoom video conferencing.
Basic rates for lessons:
$70 for 45 Minutes, $90 for an hour. $60 for 30 Minutes (for ages 10 and under)
